*Effective Date: September 01, 2026 • Last Updated: September 13, 2026*

Internville (“**Internville**,” “**we**,” “**us**,” or “**our**”) operates an online platform that helps individuals discover and apply for internships and jobs and helps Employers and Companies publish opportunities and manage recruitment activities.

This Privacy Policy explains how Internville collects, uses, stores, shares, and otherwise processes personal information when you access or use our website, platform, features, and services (collectively, the “**Platform**”).

*By using Internville, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.*

## 2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of the Platform, and information that may be provided to us by other users or third-party services.

The information we collect depends on how you use Internville.

## 3. User Account Information

Internville uses a single User Account system.

You may create an Internville account using:

* a supported Google sign-in; or
* your email address and password.

The same User Account may be used for both Candidate and Employer activities.

We may collect information associated with your User Account, including:

* name;
* email address;
* authentication credentials;
* username;
* account information;
* mobile or telephone number, where provided;
* location;
* profile photo, where provided;
* login and authentication information; and
* other information you voluntarily provide.

Your Candidate and Employer activities may therefore be associated with the same User Account.

We do not treat the Candidate and Employer functions of your account as completely separate accounts where they are operated through the same User Account.

## 4. Authentication and Account Security

You may register or sign in using supported authentication methods, including Google or email and password.

When you use a third-party authentication provider, such as Google, we may receive information necessary to authenticate your account and provide the relevant Platform functionality.

Internville personnel do not have access to your actual password in readable form.

Passwords are handled through appropriate authentication and security mechanisms.

If you forget your password, you may use the password-reset functionality associated with your account email address.

*We may collect information relating to account authentication, including login activity, security events, and other information necessary to protect accounts and the Platform.*

## 5. Candidate Profile Information

If you create a Candidate Profile, we may collect and process professional, educational, career, and related information that you choose to provide.

This may include:

* name;
* primary role;
* location;
* social and professional profile links;
* GitHub profile;
* LinkedIn profile;
* portfolio or personal website;
* resume links or uploaded resumes;
* professional summary;
* mobile number, where provided;
* open-to roles or role preferences;
* education;
* schools, universities, and courses;
* degrees and qualifications;
* work experience;
* internship experience;
* skills;
* projects;
* certifications;
* achievements;
* career interests;
* preferred roles;
* preferred locations;
* work arrangements;
* availability;
* languages;
* and other professional information you choose to provide.

*You are responsible for ensuring that information in your Candidate Profile is accurate and current.*

## 6. Public Profile

Internville may provide Candidates with a shareable Public Profile accessible through a URL such as:

`internville.com/u/{username}`

The Public Profile is designed to provide a professional presence on Internville while limiting the amount of personal information visible to visitors who are not logged in.

### 6.1 Information visible to visitors who are not logged in

For privacy reasons, Internville may mask or restrict the majority of Candidate Profile information from visitors who are not logged in.

Non-logged-in visitors may generally see only:

* name;
* primary role;
* location; and
* social or professional profile links.

Other Candidate Profile information, including information such as education, work experience, skills, projects, certifications, achievements, summary, and similar details, is generally restricted from non-logged-in visitors.

### 6.2 Information available to logged-in users

Users who are logged in to Internville may be able to access additional Candidate Profile information, depending on:

* the Platform's functionality;
* applicable profile visibility settings;
* the relationship between the users; and
* the purpose for which the information is made available.

Information available to logged-in users should not be understood to mean that the information is publicly available on the internet.

### 6.3 Mobile number visibility

Where Internville provides a setting allowing a Candidate to make their mobile number visible, the Candidate controls whether that information is made available through the applicable profile functionality.

Candidates should review their visibility settings carefully before making contact information available.

## 7. Online Resume

Internville may automatically generate an **Online Resume** using information contained in your Candidate Profile.

The Online Resume may organize information such as:

* professional summary;
* education;
* work experience;
* internships;
* skills;
* projects;
* certifications;
* achievements; and
* other Candidate Profile information

into a resume-style presentation.

Changes made to your Candidate Profile may affect the information displayed in your Online Resume.

*Candidates are responsible for reviewing the information contained in their Candidate Profile and resulting Online Resume.*

## 8. Downloadable PDF Resume

Internville may allow Candidates to generate and download a PDF version of their resume.

A Candidate may download their own PDF Resume for personal use, including sharing it outside Internville.

An Employer or authorized Company Administrator may be permitted to download a Candidate's PDF Resume when the Candidate has applied for a Job or Internship Listing associated with the relevant Company Profile.

A non-logged-in visitor cannot download a Candidate's PDF Resume merely because the Candidate has a Public Profile.

The availability of a Public Profile therefore does not mean that a Candidate's complete profile or PDF Resume is publicly downloadable.

Employers and Company Administrators who receive Candidate resumes are expected to use them only for legitimate recruitment or related purposes and in accordance with applicable law.

## 9. Employer Information

If you use Internville for recruitment activities, we may collect information associated with your Employer functionality, including:

* name;
* work email address;
* mobile or telephone number, where provided;
* job title or professional role;
* company affiliation;
* Employer Profile information;
* professional information;
* recruitment activity;
* Jobs and Internships you create or manage;
* application-related activity;
* actions taken on applications;
* communications with Candidates; and
* other information you provide in connection with recruitment.

Employer functionality operates through your User Account.

Your Employer information is distinct from the information representing the Company itself.

## 10. Company Profiles

Companies may have Company Profiles on Internville.

Company Profile information may include:

* company name;
* company description;
* website;
* industry;
* company size;
* location;
* logo;
* contact information;
* Jobs and Internships;
* Company Administrators;
* administrative information;
* and other company-related information.

Although much of this information relates to an organization rather than an individual, Company Profiles may contain personal information relating to Company Administrators, contacts, or other individuals.

*We process such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.*

## 11. Creating or Claiming a Company

A User may initiate the creation of a new Company Profile or request to claim an existing Company Profile.

To complete the company creation or claiming process, Internville requires verification through a work email address that corresponds to the domain of the Company's website.

For example, if a Company's website uses the domain `company.com`, an appropriate work email may be `name@company.com`.

We may process:

* the work email address;
* email-domain information;
* Company information;
* information about the User requesting access;
* verification information; and
* additional information reasonably required to determine whether the User is authorized to represent or administer the Company.

The purpose of this verification is to help establish an appropriate relationship between the User and the Company.

Completion of email-domain verification does not necessarily guarantee that a Company Profile or claim will be approved.

We may request additional information or verification where reasonably necessary.

*We may also restrict, reject, suspend, or revoke company access where we reasonably believe that a User is not authorized to represent the Company or where other security, legal, or policy concerns exist.*

## 12. Company Administrators

A Company Profile may have multiple Company Administrators.

We may collect and process information relating to Company Administrators, including:

* name;
* User Account information;
* work email;
* Company affiliation;
* administrative role;
* access permissions;
* administrative activity; and
* other information necessary to manage Company access.

Company Administrators may have different levels of access.

Depending on their permissions, they may be able to:

* manage Company Profile information;
* create, edit, or delete Listings;
* review Candidate applications;
* access Candidate information associated with applications;
* download Candidate resumes where permitted;
* shortlist Candidates;
* archive applications;
* reject Candidates;
* accept Candidates; and
* perform other authorized recruitment activities.

Company owners and authorized administrators may remove administrative access from individuals who no longer require it.

*Internville may also restrict or remove administrative access where reasonably necessary for security, legal, operational, or policy reasons.*

## 13. Job and Internship Listings

Jobs and Internships on Internville are created and published through Company Profiles.

An individual User does not independently publish a Listing solely through their personal Employer functionality.

To create or submit a Listing, a User must have an appropriate claim to or authorized administrative access to the relevant Company Profile.

We may collect information contained in Listings, including:

* position or internship title;
* job description;
* responsibilities;
* qualifications;
* location;
* work arrangement;
* compensation information;
* duration;
* eligibility requirements;
* application requirements;
* Company information;
* Listing status;
* publication and expiry information;
* information about the User who created or managed the Listing; and
* other information associated with the Listing.

Listings are associated with the relevant Company Profile rather than being treated as personal Listings belonging to the individual User who created them.

## 14. Compensation Information

All Jobs and Internships listed on Internville are required to be **paid opportunities**.

Internville does not permit unpaid Jobs or Internships to be published on the Platform.

Where compensation information is provided by an Employer or Company, we may collect and process information such as:

* compensation amount;
* currency;
* minimum amount;
* maximum amount;
* stipend information;
* pay frequency; and
* other compensation-related information.

Where a compensation range is provided, Employers and Companies are responsible for ensuring that the information is accurate and not misleading.

Employers and Companies are responsible for complying with applicable laws relating to compensation.

## 15. Job Applications

When a Candidate applies for a Job or Internship Listing, we may collect and process information relating to the application.

This may include:

* the Candidate's identity;
* Candidate Profile information;
* resume information;
* PDF Resume information;
* position applied for;
* Company Profile;
* application date;
* application status;
* application responses;
* communications;
* interview-related information;
* withdrawal information;
* shortlisting;
* archiving;
* rejection;
* acceptance;
* offer-related actions; and
* other recruitment-related information.

The relevant Company and authorized Employers or Company Administrators may have access to information necessary to review and manage the application.

## 16. How Candidate Information Is Used in Recruitment

When a Candidate applies for a Listing, relevant Candidate information may be made available to the Company and authorized individuals involved in recruitment for that Listing.

They may use the information to:

* review the application;
* evaluate the Candidate;
* review relevant qualifications;
* contact the Candidate;
* conduct interviews;
* shortlist the Candidate;
* archive or reject the application;
* progress the Candidate through recruitment;
* make an offer; or
* otherwise manage the recruitment process.

Internville provides the technology that facilitates these activities.

Internville does not make employment decisions on behalf of Companies or Employers.

Companies and Employers are responsible for their own recruitment practices and compliance with applicable law.

## 17. Application and Company Continuity

Because Jobs and Internships are associated with Company Profiles rather than individual Employer accounts, an individual Employer leaving the Company does not necessarily remove the Company's Listings or recruitment records.

Where another authorized Company Administrator remains, the Company may continue managing its Listings and applications.

If no authorized Company Administrator remains, Internville may restrict the Company's recruitment functionality.

In such circumstances, associated Listings may stop accepting new applications and may become expired or otherwise unavailable.

Previously submitted applications and related information may continue to be retained and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

## 18. Closing a Company Profile

Internville does not provide a general mechanism for permanently deleting Company Profiles through the normal user interface.

An authorized Company Administrator may instead initiate the process of closing a Company Profile.

When a Company Profile is closed:

* the Company Profile may become unavailable or restricted;
* associated Listings may become unavailable;
* new applications may no longer be accepted;
* Company Administrators may receive communications regarding the closure; and
* relevant Company, Listing, application, administrator, and related information may be retained.

Closing a Company Profile does not necessarily mean that all information associated with the Company is immediately deleted.

We may retain information where reasonably necessary for purposes such as:

* legal compliance;
* security;
* fraud prevention;
* dispute resolution;
* recordkeeping;
* enforcement of agreements;
* protecting Internville and its users; or
* other legitimate operational purposes.

## 19. Information We Collect Automatically

When you use Internville, we may automatically collect technical and usage information.

This may include:

* IP address;
* browser type and version;
* device type;
* operating system;
* device identifiers;
* pages viewed;
* features used;

* application activity;

* dates and times of activity;
* referring and exit pages;
* technical information; and
* other usage information.

*We may associate this information with your User Account where reasonably necessary.*

## 20. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Internville may use cookies and similar technologies to:

* maintain login sessions;

## 22. How We Share Information

We may share information in the circumstances described below.

### 22.1 With Companies and Authorized Recruitment Users

When a Candidate applies for a Listing, relevant Candidate and application information may be shared with the Company and authorized Employers or Company Administrators responsible for that recruitment activity.

This may include:

* Candidate Profile information;
* application information;
* resume information;
* communications;
* application status; and
* other recruitment-related information.

PDF Resume downloads are subject to the access restrictions described in this Privacy Policy.

### 22.2 With Service Providers

We may use third-party service providers to help us operate Internville.

These may include providers for:

* hosting;
* databases;
* authentication;
* email;
* analytics;
* security;
* customer support;
* payments;
* storage;
* fraud prevention;
* communications; and
* other technical or operational services.

These providers may process personal information on our behalf as reasonably necessary to provide their services.

### 22.3 Legal and Regulatory Requirements

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

* comply with applicable law;
* respond to lawful requests;
* comply with legal processes;
* protect our rights or property;
* investigate fraud or abuse;
* protect users or the public; or
* enforce our agreements and policies.

### 22.4 Business Transfers

If Internville is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

### 22.5 At Your Direction or With Your Consent

We may share information when you direct us to do so or provide consent where required.

## 23. Paid Services and Payments

Internville may offer paid services including:

* Job and Internship Promoted Listings;
* subscriptions;
* advertising;
* sponsorships; and
* other paid features.

Where payments are processed, we may receive information such as:

* transaction status;
* billing information;
* payment status;
* limited payment-related information;
* purchase information; and
* other information necessary to administer the transaction.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

*Internville does not intend to store complete payment card information where that information is handled by the relevant payment processor.*

## 24. Advertising and Sponsorship

Internville may offer advertising, promoted Listings, sponsorships, and other promotional services.

We may process information necessary to:

* provide promotional services;
* determine eligibility;
* manage campaigns;
* measure campaign performance;
* process payments;
* prevent abuse; and
* comply with applicable requirements.

Advertising and sponsorship activities may be governed by the **Advertising & Sponsorship Policy**.

## 25. Referral Program

Internville may operate a Referral Program.

Where you participate, we may collect information necessary to:

* identify the referring User;
* identify the referred User;
* track qualifying actions;
* determine eligibility;
* calculate rewards;
* prevent fraud or abuse; and
* administer the program.

*Referral activity may be subject to additional Referral Program terms.*

## 26. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law.

Retention may be necessary to:

* provide our services;
* maintain User Accounts;
* facilitate recruitment;
* maintain application records;
* maintain Company records;
* provide customer support;
* meet legal or regulatory obligations;
* resolve disputes;
* prevent fraud and abuse;
* maintain security;
* enforce agreements; and
* protect our rights and users.

Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information, how it is used, and applicable legal requirements.

Closing a Company Profile or closing a User Account does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of all associated information.

## 27. User Account Closure and Data Deletion

You may request closure or deletion of your User Account, subject to applicable law and the legitimate need to retain certain information.

Because a single User Account may be used for both Candidate and Employer activities, closing your User Account may affect your ability to access both types of functionality.

Where appropriate, we may:

* delete eligible personal information;
* anonymize information;
* deactivate your account;
* restrict access to information; or
* retain certain information as permitted or required by law.

We may retain information where reasonably necessary for:

* legal or regulatory compliance;
* security;
* fraud prevention;
* dispute resolution;
* enforcement of agreements;
* maintaining records;
* protecting Internville or other users; or
* other legitimate purposes permitted by applicable law.

## 28. Applications After Account Closure

Closing or deleting an individual User Account does not necessarily mean that previously submitted Job or Internship applications are immediately deleted.

Applications are part of the recruitment records associated with the relevant Company Profile.

Where appropriate and permitted by law, information relating to previous applications may continue to be retained for purposes such as:

* recruitment recordkeeping;
* legal compliance;
* dispute resolution;
* security;
* fraud prevention; and
* other legitimate purposes.

Where the relevant Company continues to operate, its authorized administrators may continue to have access to application information as necessary for legitimate recruitment or recordkeeping purposes.

*The treatment of personal information remains subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable law.*

## 29. Company Data After an Employer Leaves

Because Listings and recruitment activity are associated with Company Profiles, rather than solely with individual Employer accounts, a User leaving a Company does not automatically remove the Company's information or Listings.

If another authorized Company Administrator remains, the Company may continue to access and manage relevant information.

If no authorized Company Administrator remains, the Company and its Listings may become restricted as described in this Privacy Policy.

*This structure is intended to preserve Company continuity while maintaining appropriate controls over who may access Company and Candidate information.*

## 30. Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, which may include:

* requesting access to personal information;
* requesting correction of inaccurate information;
* requesting deletion of information;
* requesting information about processing;
* withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent; and
* exercising other rights available under applicable data protection laws.

To exercise applicable rights, contact us using the details in Section 37.

We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

*Certain rights may be subject to legal limitations, exceptions, or conditions.*

## 31. Information About Other People

You should not provide Internville with another person's personal information unless you have appropriate authorization or a lawful basis to do so.

Employers and Company Administrators should only provide, access, or use Candidate information where they are authorized to do so and where the use is connected to legitimate recruitment or other permitted purposes.

If you provide information about another person, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary permission or lawful basis to provide that information.

## 32. Security

We take reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include access controls, authentication mechanisms, security monitoring, and other safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the Platform.

However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure.

We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your User Account and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

## 33. International Data Transfers

Internville may use service providers, infrastructure, or technology located in countries other than the country where you reside.

As a result, personal information may be processed or stored outside your country of residence.

Where required by applicable law, we will take appropriate measures relating to such transfers.

## 34. Third-Party Websites and Services

Internville may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, applications, and services.

These may include authentication, payment, analytics, communication, or other services.

Third parties may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Internville is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or policies of third-party services that operate independently from Internville.

If you use a third-party authentication service such as Google, that provider may process information according to its own privacy policy.

## 35. Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to Internville is accurate, complete, and current.

This includes information provided through:

* User Accounts;
* Candidate Profiles;
* Employer information;
* Company Profiles;
* Company verification;
* Job and Internship Listings;
* resumes;
* applications; and
* other Platform features.

Employers and Companies are particularly responsible for ensuring that Listing information, including compensation and material employment conditions, is accurate.

Candidates are responsible for ensuring that their professional and application information is accurate.

## 36. Age Requirements

Internville is intended for individuals who are **16 years of age or older**.

Individuals aged **16 or 17** may use Internville, but where required by applicable law, their parent or legal guardian must agree to stand behind or be responsible for agreements they enter into through the Platform.

Individuals **under 16 years of age are not permitted to use Internville**.

Internville does not knowingly collect personal information from or knowingly permit registration by individuals under 16.

If you believe that an individual under 16 has provided personal information to Internville, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

## 37. Applicable Law

Internville intends to process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

Where applicable to our processing activities and users, this may include India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and applicable rules, regulations, notifications, and amendments made under or in connection with that legislation.

The specific rights, obligations, and protections applicable to an individual may depend on applicable law and the nature of the processing.

*Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.*

## 38. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we make changes, we may update the **“Last Updated”** date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.

Where appropriate, we may also provide additional notice through the Platform or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of Internville after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
